Hiking Hong Kong Social Network

Want to move all of your hiking activities to one location? Well now you can! In our attempt to create a single solution to get everyone and everything together into one location that is purely focused towards hiking in Hong Kong, we have created our own social network!

Personally, I like to think that it is a better platform than Facebook or Google+, but then I may be biased because it is my own – as would any parent say about their children! Either way, we have created this social network in order to combine multiple efforts.

In due time, we will be closing down this blog, and we will also be bringing an end to our Hiking Hong Kong Meetup Group, which will eliminate any confusion between us and the Hong Kong Hiking Meetup Group. Events will be created from within our social network, as too will be future blog posts – of which you can also write your own.

As with Facebook, you will have your own profile page, friends network, status updates, groups, etc. On top of that you get your own email account within the network, in due time you will be able to create your own events, you can upload your own photos, upload your videos to youtube and embed them on your profile, participate in online chat etc etc.

And it’s all free, just like Facebook. However we will be asking for donations, but again, the amount is up to you from $0 to whatever you think is a justified amount. We will be adding details of money received and details of where it goes for those who donate. As well as donations for Hiking Hong Kong, we will be accepting donations from other Charity and non-profit organizations whom we are affiliated with, also providing donated amounts to these organizations.
